All sales of Model 269 series helicopter spare
parts (new, used/airworthy and overhauled) are handled by Schweizers
Customer Support Services Department (2008 Price Book). This department is in frequent
contact with all Schweizer Distributors and Service Centers. All
domestic and international Authorized Distributors and Service Centers
are required to stock designated spare parts in sufficient quantity
to support the number of Model 269 helicopters in their areas. Customers
are advised to purchase spare parts from their local Schweizer Distributor
or Service Center. This assures receipt of genuine factory-made/certified
parts in the shortest possible time at the right price. Orders for
spares are handled on a priority basis.
The highest priority goes to "AOG" - Aircraft
On Ground. These parts are normally on their way (same day) within
hours of receipt of the order. Shipment is by the means specified
by the customer - usually airfreight. AOG fill rates average in
excess of 98 per cent.
The second priority is the Rush Order. Rush Orders
are shipped within approximately one workday of receipt of order,
by the means stipulated by the customer.
The third order of priority is Routine, which covers
replenishment of spare parts stores for Distributors, Service Centers
and their operators. These are filled within approximately two to
four days after receipt of order.
Schweizer maintains stock on more than 6,000
line item new parts, including complete modifications kits and accessory
installation kits in addition to used/airworthy and overhaul/exchange
components.(2008 Price Book)
