Curt W. Northrop has more than 17 years of aviation experience starting with UH-1H and OH-58D helicopters in the U.S. Army. Curt has also worked as a technician and field service representative on BLACK HAWK and SEAHAWK helicopters. Additionally, Curt was the manager of field service operations for Sikorsky Support Services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical science, a master’s degree in management, and an MBA.

 

David Healey

David Healey’s aviation career started in 1978. Dave received his A&P license in 1983 from Embry Riddle and received his IA certificate shortly thereafter. He currently holds pilot ratings in both fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. He has worked for large repair stations in the Northeast and as a maintenance supervisor for operators such as Malcolm Forbes and Donald Trump. In 1995, Dave opened Performance Aviation, Inc. and an FAA 145 certified repair station which included a full service avionics department for single engine fixed wing aircraft, corporate jets, and a variety of helicopters. Dave joined Sikorsky Global Helicopters in November, 2005.

 

Richard McFalls

Rick McFalls has more than 31 years of experience in the aviation industry, starting as an Air Force mechanic in Vietnam. Most of Rick’s experience is with the 269 series and other helicopter models. He is A&P/IA certified and has an extensive background in maintenance, including 10 years as the director of maintenance at a FAR 145/135 helicopter company in Florida. Rick previously worked in the Schweizer Customer Service Department form 1990-1993 and returned as a customer service technical representative in November 2004.

 

Ronald Stermer Jr.

Ron Stermer’s aviation career started in 2000 as a UH-60 mechanic/crew chief in the U.S. Army. After serving six years and two combat tours with the 82nd Airborne Division, Ron received his A&P license from Carolina Aeronautical in 2006. He also has an associate degree in aviation maintenance management from Eastern New Mexico University at Roswell. Ron has represented Sikorsky Global Helicopters as a field service representative since 2007. He has most recently been supporting military sales of the S-333M helicopter as an in-country FSR.

 

Gary Anderson

Gary began his Sikorsky career as the production manager on the H-92 helicopter program at Keystone Helicopter in Coatesville, Penn. In December 2008 he became the Site Manager for the Sikorsky Global Helicopters, Light Helicopter Division, MRO facility in Somerset, Ky. Gary has 22 years of aviation experience. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1987 and was part of AIMD Pax River for four years. After receiving his A&P in 1990, he worked for Edwards & Associates, a Bell Helicopter company and FAA 145-certified repair station, for nine years. He left there as the completions supervisor and became director of maintenance for Acro Helipro Global Services in Alabama.

 

Ted Blodgett

Ted’s aviation experience began in 1984 as a mechanic in the U.S. Air Force. After serving seven years and becoming a veteran of the Gulf War in 1991, Ted received his FAA Airframe & Powerplant certification. He spent 17 years working as a military contractor maintaining fixed wing, turbo, turbo prop, and corporate fleet jets. Ted earned his associate degree in business management in 2005 from Broome Community College and is working toward his bachelor’s degree. He joined Sikorsky Global Helicopters in October 2005 as an SA2-38B aircraft assembler. In January 2006, Ted became the fixed wing program customer support/technical representative.

 

Mary Backus

Mary’s previous aviation experience includes working as a military air traffic controller in California while in the Navy. She was hired in 1989 in production control and began working in product support as spare sales/warranty administrator in 1991. Mary has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is currently working towards a second bachelor’s degree in information technology. Additionally, Mary has been using her experience with the Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) operating system to continuously improve the quality of our products and customer service.

 

Michelle Putney

Michelle joined the Sikorsky Global Helicopters team in June 2007 as a sales and marketing and maintenance school administrator. In February 2008 she transferred to the customer support department as a parts assistant. Five months later she assumed the role of customer service specialist with the responsibility of processing all spare parts orders.

 

Thomas P. Francola

Thom joined Sikorsky Global Helicopters in April 2008, bringing with him more than 35 years of experience in the technical publications industry. His diverse background ranges from aviation and aerospace documentation to Tier 1 OEM automotive suppliers and the intellectual properties field. In his current position, Thom’s responsibilities include revising and maintaining Sikorsky Global Helicopters’ technical documents for both our rotary and fixed wing aircraft and addressing our customers’ publications-related inquiries.

Nina joined Sikorsky Global Helicopters in 2009 in the sales and marketing department. She is also the maintenance school coordinator and provides administrative assistance to the customer support department.

 

Debbie Anderson

Debbie Anderson joined Sikorsky Global Helicopters in 1990 and has worked in the customer service, marketing, and publications departments. She handles most aspects of customers’ technical publication spares requests and continues to ensure their needs are met in a timely and accurate manner. Debbie is responsible for filling orders for manuals, providing manuals to accompany new helicopters, maintaining subscription services and renewal invoices, mailing manual revisions, and maintaining our mailing list of customers and FAA aircraft owners for mailing publications updates. Changes of address and other contact information should be sent to Debbie.
