News: Sikorsky Global Helicopters is pleased to introduce an accelerated S-300C/CBi maintenance training course and an airframe inspection course to our regular maintenance training schedule this summer.

S-300C/CBi Accelerated Maintenance Training Course
July 26 - August 3

This course is intended as a refresher course for those with previous S-300C/CBi experience.

Course Requirements:

  1. Must have successfully completed the 10-day S-300C/CBi course in the past four years OR successfully completed 100-hour, 300-hour, and annual inspections on 269 series aircraft in the past 18 months.
  2. Must hold an FAA Certified A&P mechanic or comparable foreign certification/ comparable repairman rating.
  3. Must be fluent in technical English.

S-300C/CBi Airframe Inspection Course
August 4 - August 6
$595.00

This three (3) day class will cover basic inspection procedures for pre-flight, 100 hour, and other scheduled inspections.

There are no prerequisites for attending this course other than fluency in technical English. Students may attend either or both classes. The accelerated class is not a prerequisite for the inspection course.

All Sikorsky Global Helicopters maintenance training courses now meet the requirements of FAR 65.93(A)(4) and qualify for Inspection Authorization renewal.

To help provide 269 Series helicopter operators with the best possible maintenance and service, Sikorsky Global Helicopters, Light Helicopter Division, operates a factory training school for maintenance personnel. The Sikorsky Global Helicopters Maintenance Training School provides training in maintenance, service and overhaul for all Model 269 Series helicopters.

The S-300C/CBi maintenance training classes are two weeks in duration, and provide 80 hours of classroom instruction and hands-on experience.

The transmission overhaul class is four days in duration and provides a total of 40 hours of classroom and practical shop instruction.

The S-330/333 maintenance training class is one week in duration and carries a pre-requisite of a Certificate of Achievement from the S-300C/CBi course.

NOTE: Tuition fees and registration applications must be submitted to Sikorsky Global Helicopters 45 days prior to the first day of each class in order to confirm a seat.

The maximum class size for any class is 12 students. Classes will only be held if 12 students are enrolled.

If a class is cancelled due to inadequate enrollment, students will be notified no later than 30 days prior to the first day of the class. A confirmation letter will be sent 30 days before the start date to verify that the class will be held.

If a class is cancelled, tuition fees will be held for the next class of your choice within 18 months. All fees are non-refundable unless a student withdraws from the class in writing 45 days prior to the first day of class. Tuition fees are subject to change without notice.

Sikorsky Global Helicopters is not responsible for any other costs incurred by the registrant, or costs associated with the cancellation of a class. It is recommended that registrants wait until class confirmation before making travel arrangements or that they purchase refundable plane tickets.

Maintenance training courses are offered in English to both domestic and international students.
