Approved Special Processors List (AVL)
The Approved Special Processors list contains the vendors that are approved by Schweizer Aircraft Corp. to perform special processes that support Schweizer manufacturing operations. Sub contractors to Schweizer Aircraft are required to use only the vendors on this list for the processing of Schweizer product.
The AVL numbers correspond with the Schweizer Engineering Specifications (SHPs) that are being adhered to.
The list itself is a searchable sortable spreadsheet. There are also links on this page that that have pages in .pdf format that list the processes alphabetically, by AVL number and a cross reference that compares industry standards to Schweizer specifications.
